What happened at the Fair last night...

Margaret Atwood

Margaret Atwood's signature wit delighted the Miami Book Fair audience. She talked of her book tour travels, adventures in Twitter and the edibility of facial products before reading from her novel The Year of the Flood. Her advice to aspiring writers:  "Write every day, no matter what. Vow to finish. Do your back exercises and take walks."

Carmen Posadas

The first night of the IberoAmerican Authors Program at Miami Book Fair International welcomed Uruguayan author Carmen Posadas, who presented her book La Cinta Roja, and talked with the audience about the art of writing biographical novels.

Twilight Tastings

Twilight Tastings– the perfect accompaniment to our evening sessions. Windy weather moved this popular event indoors, but the congenial atmosphere stayed strong. Miami Book Fair visitors enjoyed jazz music, hors d'oeuvres from Casablanca Seafood Bar and Grill, complimentary cocktail, and a cash bar. Join us every night this week!
